Born with a natural affinity for the arts and a camera always in hand, Ronnie’s photography journey began at the age of five, when her father introduced her to the world of photography. This early exposure planted the seeds for what would become a prolific career spanning various facets of the entertainment industry. Her early passion for photography stayed with her throughout her life, capturing the world around her in unique and intimate ways.
Ronnie’s deep connection to the music and art scenes of the 1960s and 1970s provided her with unprecedented access to some of the era’s most legendary figures. She captured nearly a million photographs of cultural icons such as Donovan, Tuesday Weld, Jim Morrison, Andy Warhol, Alfred Hitchcock, and Jimi Hendrix. Her photography is noted for its intimate and revealing nature, offering glimpses of her subjects that were rarely seen by the public. Despite her significant contributions to the visual documentation of this vibrant era, her work remained largely unknown, earning her the moniker "the world’s most unknown, famous photographer" from Lucy Bell, the owner of the Lucy Bell Gallery of Fine Art Photography in England.
